STEP 4: VALUE
Warranty periods offer the consumer a guarantee of durability. Many key features
are standard in all GSW water heaters.

These are the result of over 150 years of innovation. You will notice that we offer
our water heaters in a full range of categories.

WHEN YOU MAKE YOUR BUYING DECISION REMEMBER THE THREE KEY ATTRIBUTES
WHICH CONSTITUTE VALUE IN A WATER HEATER PURCHASE:

EFFICIENCY

Electric water heaters offer higher efficiency by means of improved heat retention.
Increased insulation levels and use of our patented heat retaining Styropour base
provide improved value. Gas models employ increased combustion efficiency with
high insulation levels to offer better value.

PERFORMANCE

Lower watt density elements provide longer life. Using stainless steel* (incoloy)
elements further extends life and higher inputs (up to 5500 watts) ensures more
hot water. For gas models, using larger internal flue sizes allows a higher recovery
(faster delivery of hot water).

DURABILITY

Warranty periods reflect the confidence in the durability of our products. Use of double
anodic protection in our best models allows us to provide an extended warranty term.
